From Capitol Records (T 2228), this is  BEATLES '65 by

JOHN, PAUL, GEORGE & RINGO. It is an original (first) 

US mono pressing from December 15, 1964. Jacket is about NEAR MINT

MINUS or better showing nice, clean surfaces front and back, no split

seams and strong spine with printing dead center. Original inner sleeve is

included and it's in beautiful shape (see photos). BTW, the royal blue inner

sleeves used in previous Beatles' albums were dropped for this issue and 

replaced by one pictured above. It is the true original. The LP shows no spindle

marks either side with a few minor buffs on playing surfaces. Please note: 

There is no distortion, no startling pops or loud clicks and certainly no skips. 

The wax shows high gloss and play-grades from EX to NEAR MINT with only 

a whisper of extraneous noise between cuts. This is a copy used for promotion

as indicated by the heavy-duty staple in the upper left corner of the jacket. 

During the 1950s and early '60s, a stock copy was pulled for promotional purposes

and materials such as bio sheets, photographs, newspaper and magazine reviews 

were stapled to the jacket in the manner we see here. Unfortunately, those materials

are long gone. Even so, a monaural Beatles' album this nice comes along about once 

every seven or eight years. Obviously, our highest, most passionalte recommendation.

Lab inner sleeves for the ultimate in protection; we use 6-mil

outer sleeves or polyester both being the finest protection 

available for LP jackets.
