This UK 1st MONO pressing dates from initial December 1964 release on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1240
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK...' text with a 'KT' purchase tax code on the side 1 label.
Matrices: XEX 503-3N & XEX 504-3N
Stamper codes: 2/RHP & 1/RRL
Vinyl weight: 152g
Housed in an outer laminated UK printed gatefold mono cover.
Complete with its original rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Disc: VERY GOOD +
This early pressing has received a moderate amount of play but is without any significant or major audible faults. The playing surfaces are clean & glossy with a nothing more than a few non-feelable/non-sounding fingernail scuffs but nothing we would call a scratch. Overall the sound is warm and full with a little light backgournd in places but no clicks, pops or any other such distractions.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Clean, glossy & fully intact with a couple of spine wrinkles and a single 'thumbnail' on the front leaf being the only wear of significance on the front leaf. Both panels inside are clean & unblemished. Apart from a very light disc impression from storage on the rear there is again little to fault. Both spine ends are undamaged and all seams and the spine are unstressed and fully worded.
