• Sleeve: Original Garrod & Lofthouse laminated gatefold sleeve with flipbacks, Emitex inner.
Pressing Identification
• This is not the very first pressing (those had -3N/-3N or -1N/-1N in some cases).
• This copy has -4N/-4N matrices, which still places it mid-1960s, very much within the original era of release (pre-1969).
• The yellow and black Parlophone label was phased out in 1969, replaced by the black/silver “one box” EMI. So this is a genuine 1960s pressing, not a later reissue.
Sleeve & Inner
• Front cover shows the correct mono logo top right.
• Back cover has liner notes by Derek Taylor.
• The gatefold inside with Robert Freeman’s collage is intact (though with some edge wear visible).
Condition (based on your photos)
• Sleeve: Noticeable edge wear, laminate creasing, some spine splitting → VG to VG-.
• Vinyl: Surface scuffs and visible scratches, but labels are intact and legible (some spindle wear). Likely VG to VG+ play grade, depending on how it sounds.
