Description
Here is a rarity for Beatles collectors. It is "Beatles VI," the American Beatles LP, but on England's Parlophone label. The Parlophone record number is CPCS 104. These American based Beatles LP's were known as Export records, as EMI/ Parophone used them to send throughout Europe and possibly western Asia.
This copy is in VG++ condition. First, I played every song on both sides in order to grade it for this Ebay ad. I listened on my headphones. I heard a total of four clicks on Side One and I didn't really notice any on Side Two. Yes, there was some surface noise here and there. So, I graded the vinyl condition as VG+, certainly not Mint, but definitely worth listening to. Overall, the sound was great!
The cover is laminated and is free of any writing, etc. However there are some "wrinkles," several over George and several at the top. On the back there is some crossed-out writing near the top. As with original UK Beatles LP's the back is referred to as a "flip back" with the front cover made so that it "flips" over the back cover for about a half inch all around. The cover is then VG+, too.
So, here is an unusual and original Beatles LP meant for the European market available her in the U.S.
