Description
A very nice example of a 50 year old pressing. This is from my personal collection purchased in 1972 at a record store in Cinder Alley. Cinder Alley was a unique section of Cinderella City Mall in Englewood, Colorado, designed to resemble a New York City street in the 1960s and 70s. It was one of the mall's six distinct shopping areas, featuring a simulated outdoor atmosphere with "outdoor-esque" facades, streetlamps, and black-painted ceiling tiles to mimic nighttime. Cinder Alley also served as a space for up-and-coming artists and crafters to sell their goods. Cinderella City Mall was demolished and replaced by CityCenter Englewood, a transit-oriented development. The mall, which opened in 1968, faced declining popularity due to economic downturns, changing consumer trends, and competition from newer malls. By the mid-1990s, it was largely deserted, and the last store closed in 1997.
