Description
The Beatles ‘BEATLES FOR SALE’ STEREO, Parlophone PCS 3062.
This is a very nice, excellent audio, stereo Beatles For Sale from late 1964/early 1965.
Side 1: YEX 142-1 (4 RM)
Side 2: YEX 143-1 (1 T)
Both sides play as excellent with very minor clicking. The vinyl itself is well preserved and looks good close up, with just some superficial markings. The labels are also in excellent condition with less than average spindle wear. Side 1 label has an extra dot! ‘Sold in. U.K.’ (compared to side 2)
The inner EMITEX opaque inner is unripped and excellent.
The original stereo cover is well preserved, as these gatefolds are very fragile. As with most copies the spine has squashed over the years and there is slight corner wear and a small tear and what seems to be a small patch of liquid stain in the top right hand corner, but these are minor issues. This is a VG+ gatefold cover. The inside especially looks great!
Overall an excellent example now 55 years old!
