Description
THE BEATLES BEATLES'65 CAPITOL T-2228
COVER - FACTORY SEALED - NEW (MINT)
VINYL - FACTORY SEALED - NEW (MINT)
The album that made the biggest jump from the 98th place to the top in the history of Billboard Album Charts in the US, becoming a blockbuster. Original 1st press still factory sealed. Judging by the light blue inner sleeve, which you can see through the shrink wrap at the mouth this is a true first pressing, because this Capitol Records inner sleeve with other Capitol adverts came into use in the middle of the 1964 and then was quickly changed to the orange "Join the Teen Set" inner sleeve, which means that this copy is one of the very early 1st Mono pressings to be released. Paste over "Four Seasons" cover with "File Under: The Beatles" along with a large black dot and catalogue number T-2228. Incredible condition without any tears or splits on the shrink wrap, which has two breathe holes on the front cover and one on the back at the bottom. As the majority of copies of this album, the back cover contains the RIAA (Record Industry Association of America) logo without the number. This copy was stored in a climate controlled room with a limited daylight, which preserved the cover in the original shape with almost no signs of aging or discoloration. The front cover contains two Woolco price stickers affixed to the shrink wrap on the front cover at the top right, with one sticker getting applied on the top of another one in the process of discount increase.
