Original 1st East Coast Mono release Capitol Records Scranton, PA plant pressing. Still factory sealed copy. Cardboard cover with an original yellow"This Record Can Be Played On A "STEREO" Phonograph" sticker affixed to the cover underneath the shrink wrap. The back cover contains the RIAA 3 factory number in the lower right-hand corner. There're 3 cover variations of Beatles'65 with the color varying from emerald green to medium green to gray. The cover of this copy can most likely be attributed to the medium green cover variation. True very early 1st pressing with a blue Capitol Records inner sleeve seen through the shrink wrap at the mouth of the cover. The blue inner sleeve was replaced with the orange-red "Join the teen set on Capitol" inner sleeve at the end of 1964 and considering that the Beatles'65 album was released in December 1964, only a handful very early 1st pressing copies of the album came with the blue inner sleeve. The Mono catalog number T-2228 is located on the front and back cover along with the spine. The original factory shrink wrap containing two breathe holes on the front cover is is in great condition and fully intact only having some very light age shelf wear. The album is in amazing Mint condition and comes from a private collection
