This particular pressing is one of the more impressive sets of the hundreds of bootleg recordings of The Beatles "Let It Be" sessions. "Behind Closed Doors" delivers top sound quality, one huge variable which is often lacking in Beatles Unofficial Vinyl. Moon Child Records, Ltd. also gives the collector a stunning deluxe color jacket which is both professional and hard to find in other "Let It Be" era titles, not to mention, a comprehensive, compelling Liner Note section which detail the de-evolution of the band, Phil Spector's disregard of George Martin's and Glyn John's attempts to capture The Beatles without the overdubbing, heavy "layering" of what is now referred to as Spector's "Wall Of Sound", and initial purpose of Martin's vision for the "Let It Be" album.

Sides 1 and 2 are reportedly the original tracks which were intended to become the "Let It Be" album pre-Phil Spector. Listening to "Behind Closed Doors" is an experience that Beatles enthusiasts may find exciting in terms of finally having a clear, near 'Official' studio album quality of what the truly "naked" Let It Be album would have sounded like in 1970 or thereabouts.

Sides 3 and 4 are snippets of both "Let It Be" as well as some interesting "Abbey Road" material. Unfortunately, overall sound quality drops somewhat and there is less cohesiveness in the musical direction. Nevertheless, this disc has intrinsic value for the Beatles completist. Unreleased material along with Beatles performed versions of Paul McCartney's "Teddy Boy", George Harrison's "All Things Must Pass", and the interesting, albeit very short reprise of "She Said, She Said", allow for a glimpse inside "Behind Closed Doors" which certainly shows a grittier, somewhat imperfect, and a definitive, somewhat unsettling revelation that The Beatles were no longer performing as a unit.  A classic LP on the world famous label. This comes from my personal collection, purchased new. I've stored the disc in an anti-static sleeve, jackets in a protective cover, and have kept it in an LP box.
