Description

The Beatles Yesterday and Today album- The Butcher Album. Capitol records released an album in the USA that had songs that were not released on previous albums in the USA as Capitol was trying to get another album out (compared to the official Parlophone LP list) The original album cover shows the Beatles in Butcher aprons and pieces of meat, dolls, dentures, on their persons, and caused such an outrage in the USA that they were recalled and the "steamer trunk" cover was pasted over. This applied only to the original pressing, later pressings had only the steamer trunk photo pasted on. You can see the black V of Ringo's turtleneck, and John's right knee on the lower left corner. The previous owner (I have had this since 1975) tried to peel off the second cover and damaged the lower right corner and a small section of the upper left. Condition is as shown. includes the LP. This will ship on Monday Dec 21 if it sells, but the USPS currently is listing Priority Mail as 2-5 days.
