Description
Bought in the sad days of December, 1980. Opened only to make cassettes (!) of each album, subsequently stored upright in climate-controlled, clean, smoke-free environment.

Box corners and hinge show some wear and some of the inner box has had some bleed from the "Rarities" album cover. Rear cover of "Sgt. Pepper" has a ding in the far-right column. "Beatles for Sale" cover is very slightly loose at the bottom rear. "With the Beatles" has a slight tear next to Ringo.
I no longer own a turntable - BLASPHEMY! - so I can only assume the LPs themselves are in good shape.
The bonus is my original 1967 copy of "Magical Mystery Tour." It is in lesser shape than the box set because it was played, and very often. It does contain the entire booklet, although it's come loose inside the gatefold. The photos are in better shape than the album, which does have 40-year-old scratchy places on it.
The records come from a smoke-free home. We do have two cats but they're not interested in classic rock so they haven't been near the records.
