- Beatles Collection BC-13 UK Version
These are difficult to date but I believe it's from 85/86. One of the inner sleeves has an 86 date on it and one has 85. These sets were not made from scratch but records that were already pressed were pulled together into the box so there is some variance like this from year to year. From what I gather the UK boxes did not have DMM Digital discs if you are trying to avoid that. I believe they are all analog masters for all the UK sets through the 80s.
Sample matrix that matches with an 85 release:- Rubber Soul:
Matrix / Runout (LP06 Side A, stamped): YEX 178-6 4 HTM- Matrix / Runout (LP06 Side B, stamped): YEX 179-6-1-1-4 HTM
I have playtested most of these they have all played perfectly with no background noise or any ticks or pops at all. I will post a video. Visually they are all NM Vinyl with no visible marks or scuffs and no spindle marks. A few of the LPs have a very subtle storage warp. I will post video of this also if possible.
The jackets are all NM also with no issues, no corner damage, splits, etc.
A few of the inner sleeves have some browning/discolored spots from age
White Album comes with 4 photos. There is not poster. I do not see a poster shown with the White Album on pics online but I have read it may have been included.
The box has a bit of wear and was a bit dusty I have cleaned it up. Please see photos I will detail any wear and tear that I see on the box. The main wear is around the hinges where the box opens.
This set is not perfect cosmetically, but is really nice, and I can tell you that these LPS will provide an excellent listening experience as these are well pressed records in top notch condition.
I'll mail this securely with bubble wrap in a larger box so it is fully protected.
