Description
This offering is The Beatles Collection LP Box Set in the blue simulated "leather" cover, what is generally referred to as "The Blue Box." I am the original owner, and this set has been very lightly used. It is part of the UK Parlophone EMI BC-13 issue. On one spine is a gold sticker that reads "Serial Number 4781" (See photos) & no UPC Code. Near the bottom of the other spine are the numbers BC 13 OC 162-53163/53176. (Do not confuse sets that have Serial numbers with the original U.S. Limited Edition "Numbered" sets.) It consists of 13 albums (14 records in all). Each album has its own record cover, with original artwork, all laminated with vibrant colors and tight corners. All covers rate out VG, Near-Mint, or Mint except the non-laminated "Rarities" cover, which shows some scuffing & fingerprints. The records themselves are in Mint to Near-mint to VG condition in terms of appearance/playing surface. Two of the LP center labels have tiny bubbles; Nothing that affects play. All components that originally came in the box are included. The White Album comes with a Poster (never opened or used) as well as the 4 "Glossies" of John, Paul, George & Ringo, all Mint. Sgt. Pepper comes with a "cut-out" Poster of sorts - also Mint! (Sets that were issued later did not include these features.) The Box also comes with Parlophone's blue page that lists albums & playlists for each. The Box itself is in Good condition. However, there are a few nicks & a "tear" in the blue surface near the front left corner just below the lid of the "fold-open" box that extends near the hinge area on the side. Inside the box, when the lid is opened, you can see where some of the paper lining along the inner edge of the opening no longer adheres This item ships Only in the U.S. from a music-lover who believes you deserve to see photos of the exact item you are considering.
