Vintage Authentic 1965 U.S. Original Capitol Souvenir Compact 33 EP Picture Sleeve and 33rpm Record.
This is a very rare Beatles/Capitol Compact EP 33rpm record. It was released by Capitol Records in July of 1965 to celebrate the grand opening of their Jacksonville pressing plant. It contains 15 "intro" songs from various Capitol Records stars. They include The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, and others. The songs are 1 or 2 minutes of each song (intro's) to celebrate each artists big hits for Capitol Records.
This is very hard to find in any condition and rarely comes up for sale.
The Picture Sleeve cover is in G+ to Vg- condition. It has a few small tears from age (58 years old) and some edge issues. The vinyl is in NM to NM- condition (appears unplayed) and the vinyl inlays are in NM condition. The vinyl is bright and glossy. The record is currently housed in an older Capitol paper sleeve as I have separated the paper sleeve to avoid any further damage.
These are very difficult to find in any condition and values of these rare Beatles records are increasing.
A must for anyone wanting to complete their Beatles collection.
