Polydor (NH 52 275) UK pressing

OK, I'll be honest...I'm not sure about this one. It's from 1964, on Polydor, and it's the UK pressing (see pics above for label info)

However, I always thought the UK version came in a standard Polydor cover, not a picture sleeve. I could be wrong, of course...because this one has a picture sleeve.

Vinyl is play tested...and it plays absolutely fine. The Cry For A Shadow side (instrumental track) has had fewer spins than the Tony Sheridan side...but both sides play fine with no issues. The vinyl is very clean and very shiny. No scratches, but several surface marks that can only be seen when holding the record up to strong light.

Outer cover in very good condition. A bit creased, with a slight amount of ringwear on the Cry For A Shadow side. Top opening edge of sleeve is creased with some very minor tearing (just a bit tatty, really...nothing serious) Name of previous record owner is written on both sides of sleeve in small lettering, and on one side of the record label itself.

Comes with plain white inner sleeve, which has seen better days and is both creased and repaired with tape (a very neat repair job, though) This could easily be replaced as it's just a plain white inner with no text.

So, to sum up...great condition vinyl that has been played several times, but is very clean and shiny and plays well. Very good picture outer cover that's a bit creased and slightly worn in places, but not bad at all.

Great Beatles collector's item !!
