Description

Deccagone colored vinyl 45RPM records are a famous series of singles released in the US starting in 1976. These highly collectible 7" singles primarily feature tracks from The Beatles' legendary January 1, 1962 Decca audition.

Each release in the series was pressed on multi-colored translucent (including red, blue, green, yellow, orange, pink, and clear variations) and originally distributed with custom picture sleeves.  Two of the singles have “Back to Mono” stamped in the runout.

The Core Decca Audition Singles

The complete core set consists of seven singles (numbered PRO-1100 through PRO-1106) covering 14 of the 15 songs recorded during the audition (omitting only "Take Good Care Of My Baby"):

PRO-1100: "Three Cool Cats" / "Hello Little Girl"  (Back To Mono in Runout)
PRO-1101: "Like Dreamers Do" / “Searchin”
PRO-1102: "Memphis, Tennessee" / "Love of the Loved"  (Back To Mono in Runout)
PRO-1103: "To Know Her Is To Love Her" / "Besame Mucho"
PRO-1104: "Sure To Fall (In Love With You)" / "Money (That's What I Want)"
PRO-1105: "Crying, Waiting, Hoping" / "Till There Was You"
PRO-1106: "The Sheik of Araby" / "September in the Rain”

In addition, I have added two additional singles:

PRO-1108: "By Royal Command" (featuring tracks from their Royal Variety Performance)
"From Me To You", "She Loves You", and "Twist and Shout"
SFF/SOK 21 B: “Revolution / How Do You Do It”

Collecting & Marketplace Value

Because multiple color variations were pressed for nearly every catalog number, collectors often hunt for complete single-color sets or specific rare matrix codes (such as the standard BACK TO MONO etchings). This is a complete sets of all 7 core singles with their original picture sleeves, plus two additional singles for a total of 9 records.
