SAVE A HUGE AMOUNT OF SHIPPINGCOSTS ON MULTIPLE ITEMS!!!! Description About the album: Beatles for Sale (No 2) is an EP released by the Beatles on 4 June 1965. The EP was only released in mono. Its catalogue number is Parlophone GEP 8938 About this particular pressing:In mid-1969, all of the Beatles Parlophone EP's were reissued onto a label having "The Gramophone Co. Ltd" in the rim print but having NO "Sold in UK" message across the middle of the label. This is commonly called the 70's label, because it lasted through 1976. After that (this pressing):
Black/yellow Parlophone label with silver print: Type-6
(1) capitalized "THE EMI RECORDS LTD." rims,
(2) solid yellow Parlophone logo
(3) "(P) 196X" statement
(4) "SOLD IN U.K." statement was removed
(5) Push-out center / Solid center
Condition
This EP comes from a record shop. It has been stored in the archives for over 30 years. The owner sold it directly to me and I have stored for a few years now. So it's never been played.
