Description
In this auction:
· “THE BEATLES CHRISTMAS ALBUM” by The Beatles
· This LP is Apple Records SBC 100.
· This LP was issued in Spring, 1971.
· The original copies of this LP were issued ONLY to members of the Beatles Fan Club.
· The LP contains all of The Beatles’ Christmas messages provided on 7-inch vinyl and flexi-discs from 1963 to 1969.
· Since this LP was only issued to Beatles Fan Club members, the Labels and Cover have the printing “NOT FOR SALE”, since they were not made for commercial retail sale.
· This Beatles Fan Club Christmas LP has been heavily reproduced over the years. How do we know that this one is authentic? Because it has all of the following identifiers:
1) Genuine covers (like the one in this auction) are constructed of cardboard (not poster-board) with front and rear slicks pasted on.
2) On the front slick, in the lower left photo of Ringo, both of his eyeballs are clearly visible. (Counterfeit covers have blurry images or his right eye is covered by dark shadows.)
3) Genuine discs like the one in this auction have a visible 1 ½ -inch pressing or indention ring. (Counterfeits have a much larger ring.)
4) Genuine discs were pressed at Capitol’s Winchester plant and have the Winchester plant symbol etched in the trail-off like this one.
· The COVER is in STRONG VG to WEAK VG+ CONDITION with light to moderate overall wear. There is some cracking on the spine, top seam and part of the bottom seam, (please check out the images) but NO seam splits. The corners have moderate wear, and the two top corners are bald. There is light partial ring wear on the rear cover slick.
· The VINYL is in NICE VG CONDITION with a number of light/slight surface hairlines/scuffs (none of them “feelable”).

The grades are: Good+ (G+), Very Good Minus (VG-), Very Good (VG), Very Good+ (VG+), Near Mint Minus or Very Good++ (NM- or VG++), Near Mint (NM), Mint Minus (M-), and Mint (M or MT) to VISUALLY grade this LP, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding.
