This amazing sounding album containing all the group's tracks recorded in Hamburg, Germany with Tony Sheridan is a UK 1967 1st pressing on the red POLYDOR label: 236201

Despite having a mono indicator on both labels, all track play in super-high-quality STEREO.

Housed in a front laminated stereo 'pop art' cover designed by Barry Zaid and printed by 'Ernest J. Day'.

Complete with its original poly-lined inner-sleeve.

Both are clean & vibrant with a small collection of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole and a few small scratches on 2.

Visual: EXCELLENT +

Extremely clean deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight, revealing only a few harmless wispy hairlines marks upon close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. Both sides of this well high-quality pressing lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Play: EXCELLENT +

Outstanding, high-quality reproduction from the original German stereo master-tapes which has not been bettered since. All tracks play perfectly cleanly and clearly with no trace of any groove/play wear or any other significant or major audible distraction. Without doubt the best sounding source for all these superbly-recorded gems which will not disappoint.

Cover: VERY GOOD

A strong and vibrant example with a vivid glossy front laminate which bears a few faint creases but no major signs of wear. The rear panel has some marks from storage but no writing or missing paper. There is a little wear to the spine lettering, but no stresses or splits to it or either seam.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +

Clean, flat & uncreased with just a gentle disc impression and no writing, tears or seam splits.
