Description
This is the original first Christmas Flexi by The Beatles on the Lyntone label catalogue number Lyn 492. Not too many of this particular flexi have survived in such a beautiful condition as many suffered as a result of bad handling, storage etc. The flimsy manufacturing rendered these flexi's very vulnerable to damage and required careful handling and storage. This particular copy has been very carefully looked after and remains in Excellent + condition.
The actual playing surface retains a beautiful shine and does not displays any scratches or other marks whatsoever. The label has like many discoloured with age but is otherwise undamaged.
The outer sleeve has remained remarkably yellow with little signs of any fading at all. There is very little creasing on two corners of the sleeve, one staple is missing but no damage to sleeve and there is a small split about a quarter of an inch on the bottom front spine edge. All of this makes it sound far worse than it is but I pride myself in accurate descriptions to avoid buyer disappointment.
This item is in exceptional condition and would credit any serious collection.
