Description

This is the original first Mono pressing of the album "Yellow Submarine" by The Beatles on the Apple label catalogue number PMC 7070.  Matrix numbers are: Side 1,  XEX- 715-1, Side 2,  XEX 716-1 Stampers:  Side 1,  9 O clock 3,  3 O clock L,   Side 2,  9 O clock 1,  3 O clock  0
These early Mono Apple albums are hard to come by in decent condition. Although unlike some of my other listings, this copy is not NEAR MINT but it is a very respectable Excellent.
The vinyl retains a beautiful shine on both sides and neither side displays any scratches, scuffs and only light sleeve removal lines. The labels remain bright but do display a number of spindle lines however, the album plays exceptionally well without any problems, a very respectable copy.
The record is housed in the original Black Apple inner that has no splits and only one snag on the round inner cut out. The outer sleeve is in nice shape with some discolouration (yellowing to the front and some creasing). The rear of the sleeve has also light yellowing but is otherwise in very nice shape. The rear has the two horizontal red lines across the width of the sleeve.
A great example of a very collectable piece
I will post internationally but buyer must pay fully insured postage.
