A bit of history.....This album was first released on the 4th Dec 1964. Prior to its release there was a huge order of 750,000...which went on to break all records for advance orders of ANY album!!! Of course this meant the album went straight into the number 1 position in the U.K. charts, staying in the charts for 46 weeks!! POPULAR is too small a word for it!

157g QUALITY HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL
VG++/EX-. Lovely heavy vinyl. The vinyl has just a few light marks, still retaining all it's is shiny glory!
Does Not Skip or Jump!
FLAT-SHINY-HEAVY
Played loud, you can hear very light background noise etc, but I think this adds to it's appeal and would be severely reduced with a gentle professional clean.
THE SOUND REPRODUCTION IS LOVELY
Labels: EX-. Lovely and clear. Light spindle marks, only visible when angled towards bright light. With barely any central hole wear.

Outer text "The Parlophone Co." (ONLY 1st Press have this) it DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text.
Lovely, clear silver text.
NO writing.
LOVELY
Cover: VG+. Mono outline in top right corner. Shiny front and back cover...
There are just a few very small areas of spidering to the laminate...Some little fingers eminating from the seams...Really nothing to worry about for this delicate cover.
I notice one tiny cut in the spine of around 1cm-certainly nothing to worry about as the rest of the spine is lovely and strong, with just some rubbing to the corners

STRONG & LEGIBLE.
Excellent strong inner flipbacks.
But come on we all know how delicate this gatefold cover is....I am being very critical and honest for you-you get what is described.
NO WRITING.
Inner: EX. ORIGINAL "Use Emitex" inner. " In tip-top condition.
Certainly done her job by looking after the vinyl for all these years.

ALL IN ALL THIS IS A GREAT COPY-PROVIDING WONDERFUL SOUND REPRODUCTION WITH A SLEEVE IN GREAT SHAPE TOO.
