Description

An original stereo 1st press of BFS on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 1/1 - very 1st cut. Please note labels are consistent with 1st press and mention 'Parlophone' in the perimeter text and also 'recording 1st pub'. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original stereo gatefold cover. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) A superb looking copy which has only seen the lightest use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of very light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. A beautiful rendition which is nigh on faultless - most certainly have never heard better. Just beautifully clean an clear audio from start to finish. Interference is pretty much totally absent. I will do my usual catch-all....you might detect a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. To all intents and purposes...FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) Woah! It's difficult finding a Mono BFS cover looking this darn sweet, but I'm not sure I've ever seen a really smart stereo 1st ever. The way these covers were designed seems to have always attracted wear and deformation. This copy, however, is like no other I've witnessed. Lovely clean and shiny front and back - both of which lies totally flat. I can only make out one vague crease! It really is very unusual to find that front opening panel in such good firm condition. Usually they crease and bend - but this one is a stunner! The interior looks great - no issues at all. Edge wear is very light for this title and there's just a one inch patch of wear at the top middle of the right panel. The spine, which is often a problem area on this title, is also in pretty much perfect. It remains pretty square to the cover sides and does not appear to have been affected by wear at all. Overall the cover retains pretty much perfect rigidity. Don't think I'll be finding another one like this in a hurry!
Emitex (Ex) In very nice condition with little ageing. No splits either.
