Description

A 1st pressing of BFS on the UK Parlophone label from 1964. Matrix 3N/3N. Stampers 2-GA/3-RA. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could could only make out a couple of light marks either side. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is minimal. All we could detect was a touch of light static in a couple of tracks i.e. very little at all. It really is a very nice little player and a true 1st press to boot!
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has been looked after down the years. Do bear in mind that these BFS covers are particularly hard to find in decent condition due to the way they were manufactured. Nice and shiny front and back only exhibiting some laminate lift and a couple of creases. The interior is in very nice condition with no issues at all. Edge wear is reasonably light too. The spiny is tricky to find in decent condition - this example's spine is 100% intact.
Inner (Vg) A bit aged and with one side split that has been taped up.
