Description

An original Mono copy from early 1965 on UK Parlophone. Matrix 4N/4N. Note how the early copies mention 'Parlophone' in the perimeter text and 'recording 1st published'. The vinyl comes housed in an original G&L Mono cover [what a looker!]. Also included is the original Emitex innr sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. We'll ship with an anti-static inner for maximum protection.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) A lovely looking copy which has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks per side - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with super clarity. It sounds fab and certainly allows you to really dig deep into the mix. Whether it's the up-tempo numbers or low-key ones you'll be treated to some very precise 60's audio. A total treat. The only issues are during the two low-key tracks on side 1. 'Mr Moonlight' & 'Follow The Sun' - expect a bit of static here and there in these tracks. Nothing invasive - they just won't play as sweet as  the rest of the LP. Difficult to find these tracks playing properly clean anyway. I'd argue this is a small price to pay for a super original from '65.
Cover (Ex) Very difficult to find anything approaching this kind of condition. These original BFS covers were never going survive unharmed due to their inherent flimsy design, but occasionally you find a specimen that has really been looked after particularly well. The front is astonishingly well preserved - very few will look this good by this point in time. Lovely and shiny - flat as they come with only one slight thumbnail crease. The opening panel still retains excellent rigidity, sharp opening edge - with perhaps just a very slightest knock to the lower corners. The rear continues this theme - very rarely does it look like this. Shiny and flat - with no creasing! There are no tears or surface wear at all. The interior looks great with no issues at all. Edge wear is extremely limited. That tricky spine is looking very very fine indeed. It's usually wrecked. But this example is pretty much entirely intact. All text perfectly visible with hardly any sign of wear. Overall a blindingly good looking example - which you would struggle to equal let alone better.
Inner (Vg+) Lightly aged - but no splits.
