Description

An original 2nd Issue of BFS on the UK Parlophone label from 1964. Matrix 3N/4N. Please note the labels still exhibit 'Parlophone' in the perimeter text - this dates the LP to 1964. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is, thankfully, minor and infrequent. All we could detect was a touch of lightest static in one or two isolated spots - certainly nothing invasive or persistent. Cover (Ex-) Anyone familiar with this title will know that finding one of these BFS covers in decent condition is a bit of a task! The front is very nice and clean and only exhibits a couple of creases over toward the opening. The rear exhibits only some minor ring wear and a a touch of laminate lift on the top right corner. The interior looks great - just lightest handling. Edge wear is relatively light for this title. The text on the spine is still legible and looks to be in pretty good order. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Emitex (Vg+) Bit of light ageing. No splits though.
