Description
I’m putting up for auction MORE BEATLES PICTURE SLEEVES (extra copies) FROM MY OWN COLLECTION. So, if you want to begin a collection of Beatles Singles Picture please check out my other current auctions for items you may want.
In this auction are the following:
1 Capitol Records Picture Cover & 1 Capitol Records EP 7-inch record
· “FOUR BY THE BEATLES” Extended Play (EP) by The Beatles
· This is Capitol Records EAP 1-2121.
· It was issued in May 11, 1964.
· This EP contains 4 songs. Side 1: “ROLL OVER BEETHOVEN” & “ALL MY LOVING” Side 2: “THIS BOY” & “PLEASE MISTER POSTMAN”.
· This EP was issued in a cardboard cover entitled “FOUR BY THE BEATLES”.
· The COVER is in BEAUTIFUL NEAR MINT MINUS CONDITION!!! Only a tiny bit of wear on one side (the side without the price sticker) under “PLEASE, MR.” keeps me from grading this cover as Near Mint! There is an original price sticker on one side.
· The VINYL is graded VERY STRONG VG to WEAK VG+ CONDITION. There are LIGHT surface hairlines/scuffs. There is a tiny mark on the vinyl at the 1:00 position on the “This Boy” & “Please Mister Postman” side visible in the images on the “Please Mister Postman” track. I played this side and the mark is not detectable in sound. In fact, I played both sides of this record (Technics turntable tracking at ½ gram) and both sides sounded great. I don’t usually have the time to play all of the records I sell, but I played both sides of this one to be sure.
· On 1 Label, there is a very slight indication where a small sticker once was. (No tear and not very noticeable, but there.) Check the images of the labels.
· The EP format (7-inch record with 2 songs on each side) for Beatles’ records was not common at all in the U.S. In fact, only 3 Beatles’ EPs were commercially released in the U.S. in the 1960s: 2 were issued by Capitol Records and another was issued by Vee Jay Records. (The Vee Jay EP is being offered in another of my current auctions.)
· It’s a RARE BEATLES CAPITOL EP IN EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION that deserves a place in someone’s vinyl collection!

These grading Good+ (G+), Very Good Minus (VG-), Very Good (VG), Very Good+ (VG+), Near Mint Minus or Very Good++ (NM- or VG++), Near Mint (NM), Mint Minus (M-), and Mint (M or MT) to VISUALLY grade the 45s and picture sleeves I auction (unless stated that I played the record), so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding.
