The Beatles "Four By The Beatles"
The songs are : Roll Over Beethovan, All My Loving, This Boy, & Please Mr. Postman
This is a US vinyl EP from 1964 on Capitol EAP-2121. It comes in it's original picture cover. The cover is thick cardboard. It contains a 7 inch record with 4 songs and it plays at 45 RPM. This was the second American EP by The Beatles.
The record is CAPEP 2121.01B in Bruce Spizer's book. It has the green label with centered song titles. Also the Capitol logo has 'records' under it. The cover is CAPEP 2121.PS1B in Bruce Spizer's book. This is a West Coast pressing.
The matrix numbers are : Side One : EAP-1-2121-F-1 and Side Two : EAP-2-2121-F-1.
Condition : Picture Cover : G+ / Record : VG-
The vinyl looks VG- and it plays VG-. There are tiny scuffs and scratches in the vinyl. It plays better than it looks. On side one there is static before the music and very light background static during the music. There are 'ticks' between songs and into the beginning of 'All My Loving' On side two there is static before the music starts and lots of static during 'This Boy'. Then 'Please Mr. Postman' plays great. It plays through with no skips. The labels show very little wear but there is a name on the A-side. The picture cover is G+. There is no ring wear and there are no seam splits But, the bottom two corners have big bends and there is 1/2 inch piece of clear tape at bottom right. On the back cover there are two names written in pen: one by George's head and one to the right on John's head. There is overall cover wear.

I started collecting records in 1966. I started selling in Goldmine in 1985. I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby. And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon. My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.
Packaging :
I take great care during packaging and do each one personally. I use hand cut cardboard, which I get from a trucking company. (It's so thick that you will save it and use it again.) Each piece is 1/2 inch thick and together they are very stronge. I always remove the record from the picture sleeve and tape them inside a clear plastic record sleeve. All packages are marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.
Postage :
You have to pay for the postage. So, I pre-weigh each package and you pay the exact amount the post office charges. There are no handling charges. This record will weigh 8 ounces when ready to ship. US winners can figure out your own postage costs for US First Class or Media Mail. I will send it through Paypal and you will get an email with the tracking number. Overseas winners will get it sent by First Class Mail International. (Buyers from Brazil will assume all risks for shipping to your country.) I will send your record as soon as you pay. (same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM, Monday thru Saturday) I will combine postage if you win more than one record. Please wait for my invoice for all of your winnings in one package.
