Description

After 30 years of collecting records/mostly Beatles, baseball cards & coins...I am liquidating my collection...It breaks my heart. Some of these things that I will be listing vary from "fairly rare" to you "may never see another one again! This is a Mono Beatles and Frank Ifield portrait cover! As Perry Cox has witten on his stereo, "one of the most rare Beatle Albums in existance" Well the Stereo is. Jim Hansen of Blue Jay way records said that there are only 80 stereo portraits and less then 225 mono portrait covers in existance! That means to own one of these is like an original Picaso. I showed a picture of this framed so you can see how well it displays. It's by no means perfect. Once again thanks to the quality of VJ's covers. That's probably the reason there's so few that have survived. There's some white flecks through out the front some minor ring wear. The top and bottom seam have wear. A two inch piece of tape along the top seam no splits. The spine has wear but the print is completely legible no splits. The bottom seam has been taped over what looks like some stain or something that was along the bottom edge and maybe what was a two inch split or starting to become one. It's hard to tell . The disc is nice and it has the original VJ sleeve with the albums pictured. There's a name on the back I mean it shows a lot better then the scrutinizing. These are so few and far between that until you can cough up the $5000 for a decent stereo you can easily display this one . I had it framed and if you win you can have the frame for a $100. plus an extra $10 to ship it. I'll pick up the rest of the shipping which is about $40 for priority. Plus I don't box it I have it down by a frame shop which is $20. So it's a deal. The frame I have is not some $10. one you see advertised. It's more like $250. It's metal double matted and has the UV glass which was $50, just for that. You can also lock it to the wall so someone can't walk off with it. If you buy one of these you can't put it in some milk crate.
