THE BEATLES: ‘HELP!’ – AN ORIGINAL 1965 UK BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE FIRST ISSUE STEREO VINYL LP – PCS 3071.
This is an original 1965 UK **FIRST ISSUE STEREO** Vinyl LP for The Beatles ‘Help!’Album, first released on the 6th August 1965, and the fifth Beatles UK album, on the traditional Black & Yellow Parlophone Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim, and ‘Sold in UK…’ label text.
Both record labels are in very nice Near Mint condition, bright & clean unworn record labels, showing nothing more than just a few light signs of play to each centre spindle hole.
Side 1 stamped matrix is YEX 168-1 and Side 2: YEX 169-1.
Side 1 stampers: 2 GL/Side 2: 1 AD.
There is an embossed ‘KT’ tax/price code is visible to the centre of the side 2 record label.
Both sides of the vinyl disc are in superb Near Mint condition, bright unworn glossy vinyl surfaces showing just a couple of faint hairlines, but no deep scratches or scuffs visible.
Play Quality:
This album never disappoints it plays with superb powerful Stereo sound quality from beginning to end.
The album comes in it’s original Lined ‘Use Emitex’ Printed Inner Bag which is a very nice example in Excellent condition, NO seam splits, just some light inevitable creasing.
And is housed in it’s original **stereo** front Laminated Patents Pending Garrod and Lofthouse, three flipback sleeve, printed with outlined ‘stereo’ at the top right hand corner on the front the ‘PCS 3071’catalogue number is printed on the reverse on the reverse.
The Garrod and Lofthouse Laminated Picture sleeve is in very nice Excellent Minus to Excellent condition. The front of the sleeve is clean, with only mild record indentation, and small bumps to the corners.
The reverse of the sleeve is clean and White, showing mild handling signs to the opening edge.Two of the flipbacks are undamaged, the top flipback shows a little damage to the corner. The spine edge wording ‘Help – The Beatles’ is clearly legible.
Superb Vinyl on this one and great sound quality too.
