This is The Beatles 5th UK Album Release, first released on the 6th August 1965, the vinyl LP is on the traditional black and yellow Parlophone Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim, and ‘Sold in UK…’ label text.
Both record labels are in superb Excellent Plus condition, bright, clean record labels, showing just a few signs of play to each label, with no fading to the silver and yellow text
Side 1 matrix: YEX 168-1 and Side 2: YEX 169-1.
Side 1 stampers: 2 GG and Side 2: 1 RR.
There is an embossed ‘KT’ tax code to the centre of the side 2 record label.
Both sides of the beautiful Vinyl LP are in immaculate Mint Minus condition, beautiful, clean and bright unworn vinyl surfaces, showing nothing more than a couple of light, non sounding, surface hairlines.
The LP plays with beautiful, clear uninterrupted sound quality throughout all tracks, a really powerful sound quality from this LP.
The LP comes in it’s original ‘Use Emitex’ lined Inner Bag which is a nice example, no seam splits, just light age toning and light creasing.
And is housed in its original and immaculate First Issue Front Laminated Garrod and Lofthouse Patents Pending three flip back sleeve, printed ‘stereo’ to the top right hand corner of the front of the sleeve, and with three flipbacks to the reverse. The sleeve is a beautiful clean and immaculate example, in Mint Minus condition. The front panel is white, clean and glossy, with just a hint of LP storage signs.
The reverse panel of the sleeve is also in beautiful, immaculate, clean and white, with just a light hint of handling signs to the opening edge, the spine edge and other edges are perfect.
A beautiful example of this original first issue UK Stereo Beatles album.
