The Beatles - "HELP!" Fully Signed*

On offer here is a Rare Original first pressing of "HELP!" by The Beatles. Released on the 5th of August 1965, it sold 2.5million world-wide! It was the first album ever to enter the album charts at number one and stayed there for 9 weeks! This is an original and rare first pressing of the Parlophone record. It has the YELLOW and BLACK label. It is a mono version with Cat. numbers PMC 1255.

*In addition the record cover, would appear to be signed / autographed by the full Beatles line-up: Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Star! It is signed on the front cover. However I have no way of authenticating the signatures, I am therefore selling with no C.o.A, without proof, and no money back guarantee if the signatures / autographs prove not to be authentic. Its amazing the stuff you find in your dads loft!

A breakdown of the condition of the record, cover and sleeve (according to The Rare Record Price Guide of Record Grading 2004) is as follows:

OVERALL: this complete record is graded as MINT – EXCELLENT condition. It is a perfect investment for collectors. Original Beatles records are becoming increasingly harder to find making their value is appreciate at phenomenal rates. This record is also perfect for those who want to have a very playable original copy of arguably the greatest Beatles album ever!

RECORD: The rare original vinyl is graded as excellent condition and plays well. The Matrix numbers can still clearly be seen – making it perfect for collectors. The record still shines as if it were bought yesterday. Some slight surface scuffs can be seen under close scrutiny – understandable and expected for a record 40years old. You will rarely find a vinyl in better condition. This rare original first pressing definitely shouldn't be missing from any serious Beatles collection. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find, especially in this condition.

LABEL: The centre label is in excellent condition. There are slight spindle marks which can only be seen if closely studied, it is otherwise clean and a great example. This is a first pressing as the label has the "SOLD IN U.K. SUBJECT TO…" text under the "Parlophone" name and "THE GRAMAPHONE CO LTD" text on the label rim. Making this record an original, rare and highly sought after first pressing.

COVER: The cover is in excellent - mint condition. As stated above the cover appears to be signed by the full Beatles line-up* There are no folds or rips usually found on the covers of this age. The cover still has its original glossy laminate shine. The front cover displays no discolouring and has the clear "mono" text in the top right corner. The spine is in excellent condition – very rare for a record of this age, it has clearly been well looked after. The rear has the 3 flip-back flaps making it the first pressed cover, original to the record. It also states "Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd".

SLEEVE: The sleeve is crisp, clean and therefore in mint condition.
