Description

An original 1st issue of the HITS Ep on UK Parlophone from late autumn 1963. Matrix 1N/2N. Tax Code 'MKT' etched in deadwax. Labels exhibit 'Parlophone' in the perimeter text and 'recording 1st publishing'. Please note there are very early 1st pressings with 1N/1N from early September. There's also no sign of the 'Sold In the UK' statement which appeared in early1964. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover.   Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) Has only seen very light use. A couple of very slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. Plays mostly EXCELLENT+. Very nice bold mono. Rich and detailed. Clean signalled - I can hardly make out any background. Nothing worse than a couple of crackles in a couple of spots. Clean as a whistle even into the quieter tracks.
Cover (Ex-) Very well preserved. Clean front showing just a touch of light ageing, but no creases. The rear has avoided  the usual ageing you tend to find - just very lightest evidence. All flipbacks are intact and secure. Real Nice!
