Description
This is a rare Iranian 7" record compilation, headed by The Beatles 1967 #1 hit "Hello Goodbye".
Also included are songs by The Bee Gees, Neil Diamond, & Tommy James.
The sleeve grading is a strong Good+ / I would grade it as Very Good if there wasn't the obvious trimming of the discs opening seam. There is one minor tear in the mid right seam, but no splits. There is, as seen in the photos, both handling/storage related wear.
The record grading is Very Good-
Decent sound, not great, but not terrible either. There are zero skips.
The labels, if graded separately, are Fair. There is an obvious stick-on tag with some ineligible verbalization (I only know the English language & English numerals. Plus there's discoloration in sections of the label.
This is a must-have for any serious collector of rock music - especially those with a keen eye for rarity and investment potential. With a speed of 45 RPM, this EP features a great song by the greatest band ever!
The catalogue number is Monogram RT 450-9. This first edition is a true rarity! This EP is a true gem for all who understand the rarity of these EPs & their investment potential. The record size is 7", and the style is from the 1960s. The EP is written in the English language and was manufactured in Iran.
I am extremely strict on grading records - I look for perfection & am honest about the imperfections in a record - and when perfection is far from the case, I am honest in my opinion on the grading of all the records I am offering to purchase.
I package each record with optimal protection in a new record shipping box - taped - probably over taped haha; but I want to ensure that the record arrives to you in the exact condition I have in my possession!
One must always remember that these records I am offering for purchase - Thailand, Malaysian, Iranian - are subject to all kinds of weather and/or political upheaval related damage in almost all cases - not to mention the fact that most, if not all, are well over 50 years old and were produced in vastly limited quantities & quality than official releases were (That mainly applies to North American & most Eastern Europe pressings.)
They were often only produced in well under a thousand copies, and the weather conditions these records were/are subject to in Southeast Asia & the political upheaval in Iran during the 1970's (when all western music was outlawed & one faced persecution for possessing any such records) would boggle the mind of those here in The USA/Europe, etc.
