CONDITION
Disc
Visual: EXCELLENT+
A beautifully preserved copy which looks stunning in strong daylight. Under a bright halogen desk light there are one or two very faint non sounding, non feelable surface marks which do not effect play and disappear when record is tilted. The heavy duty vinyl lies 100% flat on the turntable. A strong Excellent+ example which is very close to a near MINT grading.
Audio: EXC+/ MINT-
A stunning sounding copy with little to no surface noise audible between tracks. Amazing clarity throughout with absolutely no groovewear or distrortion to any of the music signals. Tracks such as ‘The Night Before’ and ‘You’ve Got to Hide your Love way’ are breathtaking. The easily damaged ‘Yesterday’ is distortion free with barely any noticeable surface noise on the run in. There are no pops or tick and the record does not jump or stick.
Labels: EXCELLENT-
Both labels showing signs of general wear with some blemishing. There are one or two faint spindle trails visible on each label. There is no writing to either label.
Cover
EXCELLENT
An original 1st issue patents pending Garrod & Lofthouse cover. The back panel is free from any writing and shows only minimal signs of ageing. The front panel has some faint thumbnail creasing towards the opening edge and there is some slight bruising to the bottom two corners. The spine is uncrushed and intact as are all the flipbacks. All in all a well preserved cover.
Inner-sleeve Excellent +
Original and correct Emitex rice paper inner.
