Description
This once-in-a-lifetime collection comprises over 2,000 LPs, 1,000 45s/EPs & many box sets from virtually every country/territory where Beatles records were released.
All records will be sold exclusively on Ebay in auction format only (no 'Buy It Now' offers please) and WITHOUT RESERVE.
Due to the number of discs listed each week, gradings are visual only. However we are happy to provide audio grades on request.
We begin 2014 with part 1 of the Japanese LPs - arguably some of their finest sounding pressings
This 1st Japanese RED VINYL stereo pressing dates from initial September 1965 release with black & silver Odeon labels: OP-7387
Both labels include the 'LONG PLAYING' text around the lower edge
Matrix numbers: YEX 168-2 21 & YEX 169-2 30
Vinyl weight: 145g
Housed within a glossy, heavy card gatefold cover with '1,800 YEN' price on the rear panel, complete with original 2-sided lyric sheet
CONDITION
Disc: EXCELLENT
Exceptionally clean & unworn playing surfaces which bear no surface wear in daylight and just a few small hairlines beneath halogen light.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A 1st-class example of this high-qulaity cover which retains clean, white & unworn outer panels and unworn, unbumped corners both front & rear. There is however some foxing inside of the gatefold but all seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine is in perfect, unworn condition.
Lyric sheet: VERY GOOD
Apart from a few small age-releated on each side, there is little else to fault.
