First pressing. August 6, 1965. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Sold in U.K. subject…” text. Capitol print. Tracing-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. With or without KT tax code on the label.
ABOUT THIS COPY:
The outer sleeve is in fine condition, intact, very little creasing, a few light marks front and rear and some rubbing in the corners, very clean rear , no writing, considering its age etc. - please view all the photos
The original 'use emitex' inner has no splits, a little creasing, great condition
The labels only show very light signs of use, no real wear , no writing - fantastic!
The vinyl has barely a mark, ones that exist are very light and have very minimal impact
It plays superbly. I detected a light pop on each side, but really the sound was clear and powerful , even the quietest song, Yesterday, sounded awesome! A fine example...
