Welcome to Wayne's Wecords: buyer and seller of quality vinyl, specialising in ORIGINAL releases.
I play both sides of every record I sell so you can be certain you are buying a disc that has been checked for skips, pops and repeating.
It's the UK first press with the G&L sleeve and has the MONO printed on the sleeve in outline rather than solid black like later editions.?
This record plays without any of the above defects, but there is the occasional crackle on the dead wax between songs.
Apart from that there no skips or jumps.
Visually the record does display a lot of surface marks on both sides but they do not affect playback.
The sleeve is in OK condition for a 50+ year old cover. Some storage / water staining and a small section of the bottom of the sleeve is coming away. See pictures.
In summary: if you're a Beatles afficianado and looking for a mint copy then I doubt this is for you. However, it plays OK despite its appearance, has crackle in occasional places, sleeve condition is consistent with its age (although the general condition of the cover might be an issue for some) and overall is an acceptable addition until that "as new" copy comes along! Please bid accordingly.
