Description
This is the 1st UK Stereo pressing of the album "Help!" by The Beatles on the Parlophone label catalogue number PCS 3071. Matrix numbers: Side 1, YEX 158-1, stampers A @ 3 oclock, 2 @ 9 oclock. Side 2, YEX 159-1, stampers GH @ 3 oclock, 2 @ 9 oclock. Labels have the Gramaphone Company rim and KT tax code embossed one side one. The vinyl on both sides retains full factory sheen, side 1 has a none sounding scuff on track one but is otherwise unmarked. Side 2 has a few light, none sounding needle lines. Labels are remarkably clean and display only moderate spindle lines. The original Emitex inner is in nice shape with no splits. The outer sleeve is in great shape with a nice strong spine. Both back and front of the sleeve remain remarkably white. A great example of an early sleeve. This item has been carefully looked after but obviously used. Due to the described light marks to the vinyl it can only be described as Very Good, whilst the outer sleeve grades a very comfortable Excellent.
