This sale is for the following record:

The Beatles:  Help!

Dutch, Black Label, early 80s ... Catalogue # 1A 062-04257  

Matrix numbers:  YEX 168  39455-1-Y    &    YEX 169  39456-1-Y 
This is indeed the one that collectors revere.  The prize for best pressing of Help! goes to either this one or the German Apple.  For some reason, the Dutch just really, really nailed this pressing in the early 80s, better than anyone else had beforehand.  It combines the crisp, clear and dynamic sound of the UK solid-state pressings with the warm, round and fuzzy sound of the early UK tube-cut pressings.  If I didn't have a second copy, I certainly wouldn't be selling it to YOU, you lucky dog!

Condition of Record:  NM ... beautiful copy, play-graded with no surface noise.

Condition of Sleeve:  EX ... would be in perfect condition except for a small name that has been penned in on the upper right corner of the front cover (see pic above)

I don’t have any sealed records (Mint) or any records that are poor enough to be below Very Good. Therefore I only use the following 3 grades (sometimes with a + or - added) that are familiar to most vinyl buyers:  

Very Good (VG ... has hairlines scratches and/or surface noise on the record, VERY playable however, I do not sell anything that is unlistenable) 

Excellent (EX ... has some light marks and perhaps some surface noise on a few tracks, but unless you require CD quality silence, you will be very happy overall) 

Near Mint (NM ... almost no markings or scratches on the record, but most importantly it plays almost flawlessly)
