Description

An original 2nd press of Help! on the UK Parlophone label from 1966. Matrix 2/2 - same as 1st cut. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original Mono G&L cover with flipbacks. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-) In very condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing heavy or that would vaguely enter the audio spectrum. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAREXCELLENT level of playback with two deviations. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is only noticeable in the occasional passage here and there. Just expect a touch of low-level static in the odd spot - the sort you have to concentrate to make out. Due to to "Yesterday" being so low-key this is one track I'd say it's slightly more noticeable in, and also in 'Lose That Girl'. Again, more than acceptable but it will be audible against the audio in that track.
Cover (Ex-) That iconic front image looks superb and seems to have avoided the usual ageing process. The rear is looking good too, much better than many that surface, but there are a couple of foxing patches/ bit of grubbiness in a couple of spots [nothing all that noticeable]. The flipbacks are all intact and secure. Edge wear is light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. 
Emitex (Ex-) A touch of light ageing in places. No splits though.
