Description
As a vinyl collector, I’ll always give you every descriptive detail that I would want to know if I was the customer. I’m not one of these sellers who’ll just list a vinyl and say the grading and that’s it... and most of the vinyl sellers on here just don’t have a clue anyhow (they seriously don't, I only trust a certain few dealers on here). I’ve been collecting vinyl for years and along with those years, I have gained the expertise and knowledge of how a vinyl should be cared for. So please be rest assured that you'll receive what is being described here.
All my vinyl is play-tested before listing on a high-end stereo set-up (Set-up listed later)
The Beatles: The Collection was a vinyl box set of UK released Beatles LPs, remastered at half speed from the original stereo master recordings, except for Magical Mystery Tour which was mastered from Capitol Records' submasters with the last three tracks in rechanneled stereo. Each album was pressed on virgin vinyl by the Victor Company of Japan (JVC) ensuring the best sound quality possible. The album covers were replaced with photographs of tape boxes and log sheet, which included splitting 'The Beatles' into 2 separate covers.
On offer here is The Beatles Help vinyl from the MFSL box set. It's in Near mint condition and sounds incredible! Mobile fidelity did an exceptional job here. A beautiful condition vinyl.
Matrix Numbers:
Side A – MFSL-1-105-A3 H 1 3 2
Side B – MFSL-1-105-B6 H 1 6 1
Vinyl Visual: Near Mint
I've inspected both sides under bright LED light in all sorts of light catching angles and both sides gleam like new. I've spotted nothing that will affect the audio. A beautiful example.
Vinyl Audio: Near Mint
The audio playback is fantastic. The playback sounds bright just as the day it was pressed. No audio issues at all. A real beauty! You won't be disappointed. Can't beat these JVC pressings for nice quiet run-ins.
Labels: Near Mint
Both labels are in top condition and I can barely see any spindle trail lines from the center hole on either side. Maybe the slightest of one on each side and that's under extremely bright light. A strong indication that it's hardly been played.
Sleeve: Near Mint
The outer sleeve is in great condition. Just look how crisp the spine, corners and edges are in the photos! No split seams.
Inner-Sleeve: Excellent
The inner cardboard sleeve is in excellent condition with minimal marks. No split seams. Slight discolouration but to be expected with age.
A top copy and tough to find in this condition. You won't be disappointed.
Play tested on my Rega Planar 3 RS Edition with an Ortafon 2M Black 250 LVB Cartridge installed (£800 Stylus!) 1.6 gram downward tracking force. Project Tube Box S2 pre-amp
Amp – Cambridge CXA81
Pair of Wharfedale Linton Speakers
High Quality System for accurate and safe playback.
All my vinyl is cleaned with a Project VC-S3 Record vacuum cleaning machine with Project Wash-it 2 cleaning fluid. The only way I recommend cleaning a vinyl. Never Rub wipe because all you’re doing is pushing dirt/dust deeper into the groves and potentially unnecessarily scratching yourvinyp records.
Postage and Packaging:
UK Shipping Only! Excluding Gibraltar.
I will only send via The Royal Mail Tracked.
All vinyl is packed in strong cardboard vinyl mailers with the aid of cardboard stiffeners for extra protection.
Vinyl will be separated from the original outer and inner sleeves and placed in new poly-lined inners. This is to prevent split seam damage to the original outer and inner sleeves during postage.
Payment within 4 days or your order may be cancelled. Please no serial negative feedback buyers, your order may also be cancelled.
Returns:
If you are not entirely happy with your purchase, please contact me before leaving feedback and I’ll always resolve any issue. If you want to send the item back, I’ll only pay return shipping fees if I’m at fault; I’m human after all. But if you’re sending the item back just for the sake of it, that’s a different story…you’ll have to pay the return fee. Please repack the vinyl the exact way you received it, if you return damaged goods, your return will not be accepted. Please don’t destroy the cardboard vinyl mailer upon opening because you can reuse it.
