Description
This one is rare indeed. No official numbers excists for the Norwegian pressed LP’s but we know that the 7»’s were pressed in batches of 300, 500 and 1000. Some say the Norwegian pressed Beatles LPs were only made to meet demands on top of uk or german pressed imports and some say they were all pressed here in Norway. Anyways, Norway has about as many inhabitants as half of new york city (4 million people in the 60’s). So a sober assumption would be anywhere from a few hundred copies to a couple of thousand. We are probably talking hundreds as the most popular singles would sell just over 2000 copies and people bought more singles than LP’s. I have been collecting records here i Norway for 30+ years and I have seen 3 copies of the BLACK & GOLD LABEL MONO version as the transition top black and silver is about this time the first is just rare as hens teeth.
