Description
Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Help!' 1969 FINAL 60s Yellow Parlophone vinyl LP!
This particular pressing is the very last sixties STEREO pressing to feature the Yellow Parlophone label, before moving to the black EMI labels. This is known as a NO SIUK, No Sold in UK as it has that statement removed.
This is also quite rare as it has the small solid 'stereo' in the upper right corner of the sleeve. Usually, this would be an outlined larger stereo or simply no stereo there at all.
Doesn't come up for sale very often!
DO NOT MISS OUT!!!
Artist: The Beatles
Title: Help!
Catalogue Number: PCS 3071
Year: 1969
Number of Tracks: 14
Matrix Numbers: -1 -1
Mother Stampers: 3OM 3PL
Condition:
Vinyl (visual): Side 1 - there are a few hairline scratches in places but this has such a beautiful clean gloss and shine, easily grades as EXCELLENT+! Could even be Near Mint! Label is VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT-.
lot of scratches and marks on this record (pictured), it's clearly been loved and played. Visually, grades as GOOD. None of the scratches are feelable though! It's a good sign! Looks worse than it sounds. Label is GOOD+. Side 2 - same as Side 1 with a few more small non-feelable hairline scratches. Looks amazing!
Audio: I have played the first 2 tracks on Side 1 and Side 2 ONLY! They all play absolutely beautifully! Easily plays EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+! Super rich bass with some incredible clarity and a nice punch! Light crackle here and there but just needs a clean.
Sleeve: The original 1969 rare solid stereo flipback sleeve is currently rated as GOOD+! It has discolouration and creases with a 3" split to the top edge. Houses the record very well. Really unfortunate about the split! The back of the sleeve is stained. Still, it's a rare sleeve that doesn't come up for sale very often! Please see all pictures!
DO NOT MISS OUT!!!
PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES!!!
As with all the vintage records I sell, I advise a deep clean to enhance the sound quality of the record. Overall, a VERY RARE late sixties Beatles record that everyone wishes they owned!
