THE BEATLES - 'HELP!'
This wonderful sounding stereo disc is a 1966 2nd pressing of their 1965 film soundtrack album on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3071
Both labels carry 'Sold in UK...' text and 'The Gramophone Co...' worded rim texts.
The difference between this and a 1965 1st pressing is that there is an asterisk before 'I Need You' on the side 1 label. On 1st pressings this comes after that title.
A 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the side 2 label.

Stamper codes: 2/OL & 2/AL
Vinyl weight: 142g
Housed in front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover, with large outline front stereo indicator.
Complete with original 'Patents Applied For...' inner-sleeve.

A superb clean & bright pair showing just a handful of well-aimed spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine, deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked and 'as new' in strong daylight, with just a couple of barely visible wispy marks directly beneath halogen light.
Audio: NEAR MINT
Beautiful clean, warm and unworn sound quality throughout this analogue gem with no trace of any groove/playwear anywhere. Aside from a single soft 'pop' on 'Ticket To Ride' (for which the cause appears to be something in the groove), there is nothing to fault and so much to enjoy.
A respectable example with some moderate age-related wear but no major faults. The front panel is clean and white with some toning around the edges from being stored against another LP. There are no 'thumbnail' wrinkles, creasing or spine bends. There is light shelfwear bruising to the lower corners but nothing to the opening edges. The rear panel has slight foxing in some parts with no writing, stickers or missing paper. All flipbacks are undamaged and in-place and both seams and the spine are smooth & unstressed.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Some age-related marks in the paper but no writing, tears or seam splits.
