The Beatles – Help, c1968 pressing with solid centre 7” Parlophone R 5305.

This is a nice example of Help / I’m Down by The Beatles. It was originally released on the Parlophone label in 1965 – R 5305 – and is in EX condition. This is a very hard to find later pressing from around 1968 that has a solid-centre. Both labels are lovely and clean with no writing, stickers or grazes etc. Also – as an aside – I have noticed that compared to earlier pressings (and compared to most 1960s singles) it is fairly flimsy. It weighs much less than most singles from this time – around 30-32 grams compared to 38-42 grams. The record will be supplied in an original Parlophone company cover.
