The Beatles : Here's To Veterans (Vinyl LP) - Unusual Item! 

Here's a quirky item for the Beatles fan who has everything?

Here's To Veterans was an american radio programme which provided regular information to U.S. ex-forces personnel. Each show was specific artist themed, with the featured artist/s allowing the free airing of music and vocal material - this being indispersed with information relating to veterans benefits/rights/entitlements. The content/dialogue here suggest the programme would of first been broadcast late 1968/69. (Programme 1406) The Beatles feature on one side of the disc only - and this runs for 14:30 mins, with the track listing off: I'll Cry Instead, Eleanor Rigby, Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da and Hey Jude. These are the complete recordings of each track - with dubbed introductions to each by Paul McCartney.

The other side of the disc (Programme 1407) is in similar format - this time featuring The Phil Harris Show - Vintage Radio. 

From my personal collection. Plain white thin card sleeve in fair/good condition - with hand written titles to front, and inner white liner bag - again with hand written track listing.  Glossy vinyl in excellent condition with no visible scratching/scuffing to either side and no visible spidle marking to labels. Plays excellently.
