Description

In this auction: 

 

·       “HEY JUDE” LP by the Beatles  

·       This LP is Apple Records SW-385.

·       This LP was issued 1970 to 1971. We know this because:

1)   The labels identify the LP as “HEY JUDE” with the catalog number SW-385.

2)   “MFD. BY APPLE…” is in the perimeter print on the sliced-Apple side label.

3)   The cover has the correct LP title “HEY JUDE” with the correct catalog number SW-385.

4)   The cover is of cardboard construction (NOT poster-board) with front and rear slicks pasted on. (Poster-board covers were used after 1976.)

·       This LP consolidated 10 Beatles singles that were originally released in the 7-inch (45 RPM) single record format, but were never included on an LP until this LP.

·       The COVER is in NEAR MINT CONDITION and STILL IN ITS ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP. There is a very tiny push on the lower right corner at the opening with a little bit of very light wear on the corner. There is an original “SEARS” price sticker in the upper right corner with a name written in blue ballpoint on it.  

·       The VINYL would be graded NEAR MINT. However, there is a name written very lightly at the top of the sliced-Apple label (on each side of the stem) that can hardly be seen at all. (Check out the image and you’ll see what I mean.) I never really noticed it before in normal lighting. Most likely the flash of the camera must have made it more visible. 

 

It’s a NICE COPY of this BEATLES LP to add to your vinyl collection!!!
