THE BEATLES - 'HEY JUDE'/'REVOLUTION'
This fine UK 1st mono pressing of their debut 45 on their Apple label dates from August 1967 release on Apple: R 5722
Matrices: 7XCE 21185-1 & 7XCE 21186-1
Stamper Codes: 3/MPG & 1/GAT
Housed in its correct 'wavy-top' white paper sleeve - the black Apple covers were not ready for initial release.
Together with an original 'new-old-stock' 1960's record shop bag.
CONDITION
Disc: EXCELLENT +
Immaculate labels showing a single mark around the 'A' side centre hole but none on the other. Both playing surfaces are unworn and unmarked with just a few faint cloudy patches on the 'B' side. The sound quality is clean & clear with no groove/playwear or crackle. The only distraction onthe disc being 4 soft clicks on the opening verse of 'Hey Jude'. The incredible mono mix of 'Revolution' is worth the price of admission alone.
