Description

GEP 8880 released in 1963 on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix -1N/-2N. Stampers 1-MT/1-OM. Perimeter text reads 'Parlophone Co. Ltd.' Take Code 'KT'. The labels mention 'Recording First Published 1963', but do not mention the 'Sold in the U.K. ' blurb which appears on later copies.
Vinyl (Ex+) Has been looked after incredibly carefully and has clearly only seen very light use. Both sides are shiny like new and even under close inspection there's nothing more than a couple of tiny ultra-feint marks. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are practically silent and the audio comes across with barely a hint of interference. The audio playback quality is excellent with great clarity and a lovely bold rich mono sound.
Cover (Ex) Again, seems to have survived the years particularly well. A lovely shiny white front and a rear almost entirely free from fading....this is difficult to find. All flip-backs are intact and the cover still retains good rigidity. There's a couple of light marks on the rear, but nothing really that obvious. Difficult to beat in this condition....
